Patch 6.2 Profession Overview and Guides

Wowhead’s series of Profession Guides has been updated for 6.2, and we’ve written an in-depth guide just on the 6.2 profession changes.

Patch 6.2 Highlights

• You can upgrade crafted gear to Stage 5 (ilvl 700 armor/690 weapons) and Stage 6 (ilvl 715 armor/705 weapons). These recipes are purchased from Garrison Town Hall traders.
• Upgrading gear from Stage 1 to 4 is now easier and cheaper.
• Jewelcrafters can craft +75 stat epic gems, and the recipes are from varied content.
•  Felblight is a new Crafting Reagent from gathering professions in Tanaan Jungle.
• Mass Milling is coming for Draenor Herbs.
•  Felmouth Frenzy is a new fish from Tanaan Jungle.
•  Darkmoon Daggermaw is a new fish at the Darkmoon Faire which is used to purchase vanity items and low-level Cooking recipes.
• Daily profession cooldowns yield more materials and their Primal Spirit cost has been reduced.
